The University of Maryland's Diversity Database is sponsored by the
Diversity Initiative Program, a program designed by the
Office of Human Relations Programs to promote campus-wide diversity at
Maryland. This database is part of the University of Maryland's
inforM network.
The Diversity Database is supported by Maryland's Administrative
Computer Center (ACC), College of Information Studies (CIS),
Academic Information Technology Services (aITS), the Office of Human
Relations Programs, and the University Libraries.
This database contains campus, local, national, and international
academic material relating to the following areas of diversity as defined
by the Office of Human Relations Programs at the University of Maryland:
age, class, disability, ethnicity, gender, national origin, race, religion
& sexual orientation.
